When your domain expires, it will be set to Just Host parking name servers meaning your domain will no longer resolve to your content, and you will no longer receive emails at that domain. You have up to 30 days to renew your domain registration before it falls into redemption.

After a domain has fallen into redemption, the registrar charges a fee to remove the domain name from redemption in addition to the renewal fee for the registration of the domain name. If redemption and renewal fees remain unpaid, the domain name is placed up for open auction to the highest bidder or released back to the public.

To keep your domain name registered while contemplating your hosting choices, you may log into your Just Host control panel and renew just the domain name to avoid the redemption fee.

If you do not renew your hosting account, but you choose to keep your domain name(s) registered with Just Host, you may continue to renew and manage your domain(s) directly from the Just Host control panel. From the Domains tab, you may update the name servers and point your domain to the hosting provider of your choice.
